At next Spoga Horse we will be launching the new Saddle S1, a new patented saddle with two overlapping and sliding trees that meets the needs of both rider and horse and an in-built shock-absorbing device that operates when the horse comes back to earth after the jumps. The saddle shows evidence of its revolutionary characteristics both in flat work and in jumping. Horses are becoming increasingly shorter, stronger and livelier, the S1 is a short saddle which offers greater freedom of movement to the horse’s back. The S1 positions the rider in a more forward position and moves his or her centre of gravity frontwards by at least 5 cm. This reduces the effects of movement by the rear of the horse at the time of take-off. When the horse completes the jump, the force of impact on the shoulders is lessened through the effect of the shock-absorber, which cushions between 30% and 50% of the weight of the impact.The saddle S1 offers a choice of S, M, and L in gullet size, its seat sizes are 16, 17, and 18, flap projection sizes range from normal, through advanced + 2 cm, to advanced + 4cm, and it has small blocks with medium ones on request. The flap sizes are available in S, M, L, and XL. The saddle flaps are lined in smooth or printed premium leather that has the softness typical of calfskin but the resistance of leather. The seat, knee pads, and panels, on the other hand, are in soft calfskin. Available colours are cognac, tobacco, and black. AVAILABLE BY PRE-ORDER ONLY
